While I was in Chiang Rai in North Thailand I had lunch with a friend who is living in Chiang Rai. And as he is very knowledgeable about temples, Buddhism and art we did visit 2 less visited temples in Chiang Rai town. First the Wat Ming Muang and later the Wat Phra Kaew that houses also a beautiful museum in a teak wooden building. Both temples are in Chiang Rai town, near the Golden Clock Tower round-about. The photo above and the following first 4 photos under are from the Wat Ming Muang. The photos following after are from the Wat Phra Kaew.
