Passing the Hai Van Quan viewpoint in Vietnam

Traveling to Vietnam

August 2019, while traveling 3 weeks in Vietnam I did travel from Hue to Hoi An and I did pass the Hai Van Quan viewpoint at the Hao Van pass. At 465m above sea-level it is not only a viewpoint but also the border gate between 2 provinces. The all area along the coastline is beautiful with mangroves, beaches, small fishing villages and lagune's. Going downhill you are entering the modern city of Da Nang. Following are a few photos I took at the view point, where many tourists make a stop (but I carefully made photos trying to avoid them).

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
