Typically Dutch food

Traveling in Europe

During my 2019 trip to Europe I of course did eat some typically Dutch food, like poffertjes. It are actually mini pancakes served with butter and powdered sugar. They are sold in restaurants but also at a Poffertjes Kraam like at the photo above at the weekend market. Poffertjes are freshly made (see photo below). But I did eat them at Pofferjes Salon Seth, already more as 40 years the best place for poffertje (see third photo).

Another typically Dutch food are Stroop Wafels (see photos below), and I did eat 1 huge fresly made stroopwafel at Markus Stroopwafels at the Hoogstraat in Rotterdam.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
