On the scooter to Ban Sakad

Destination Travel Guide Nan province, North Thailand

On a beautiful afternoon we took the Honda Super Cub scooter from my wife and did ride to Ban Sakad, this is only 18 km but the last 10 km goes into the mountains to a height of about 1.000m. Ban Sakad is a small hill-tribe village build on the slopes of the mountains of Doi Sakad and since 2 years it is becoming a popular destination for Thai tourists. So there are now a few more coffee shops and a few more homestay's. And I sure there will come more in the near future. It is still a lovely place to go and offers stunning  views over the mountains and the valley of Pua. Following are a few more photos of our trip. For more information about Nan province see Destination Travel Guide Nan.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
