Tai Lue party in Pua

Traveling in Thailand

Today, 31 October 2020, is Loy Kratong festival and Krathing celebration (end of Buddhist lent) so in the village Ban Ket (in Pua, Nan province) was today a procession of local villagers dressed in their traditional Tai Lue cloths. And tonight there will be in front of the Wat Phuket the celebration of Loy Kratong with traditional live music and rambong dancing. We on the other hand will celebrate Loy Kratong in a small village along the Nan River. And with a little bit of luck I can make some nice photos for tomorrow new posting. For more information about Nan province see Destination Travel Guide Nan.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
