Visiting again a small village near Chiang Klang.

Traveling in Thailand

In 2016 I did visit this difficult to get to village for the first time and with help from the TAT this small village was put on the tourist map. At least that was the idea but until now it luckily did not work. The road to the village goes from route 101 to the east side of the Nan River but the village is on the west side. So there is a suspension bridge for scooters and pedestrians. But now they made something from wood that is called a bridge and it is claimed that you can cross it with your car. I did not try it but you are welcome to test it. Our plan was to go kayaking there but due to COVID19 everything was closed. So we will have to come back later. We did walk a bit around, see the following photos. For more information about Nan province see Destination Travel Guide Nan.
