First light in the sky over the mountains of Doi Phu Kha

Traveling in Thailand

I mostly wake-up between 5 and 5:30 while it is still dark. Then while I am making some tea slowly there  starts to be some light over the mountains of Doi Phu Kha. And I enjoy that while drinking my tea on the balcony of our house between the rice fields of Pua. Yes I love the early mornings and I can not stop myself from making again a photo. You will be seeing a few more shots like this in the following posts.

April is the hottest month of the year in Thailand. But mid April we had a serie of Summer Storms with strong wind (one of our trees did fall down), rain, thunder & lighting (our dog is scared shit). So that dropped the temperature nicely for about 1 week. And we had nice clean air again. But that is all over now with morning temperature at 5:00am of 24℃ and afternoon temperature of 38℃. And no wind with a AQI of about 150! So I spend the afternoons in our bedroom with air-conditioning. Luckily an early raining season is forecasted. Now if that bloody COVID19 can bugger off we can have a normal life again. For more information about Nan province have a look at my Destination Travel Guide Nan.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
