Yesterday was Loy Kratong and we celebrated that together in our garden with a lovely home made dinner under the open sky of stars and the moon. Our dog on the other hand hates noise and especially from firework. So she was in total shock & hyperventilation, what makes me very sad to see. We floated our home made kratong in a small river in de village where it was a real traditional upcountry Loy Kratong. I love living here! The kratong was made from banana tree & leaves with some flowers. All from our own garden. Well except the little candle. This morning as usual I did wake-up at 5:00am and did sit in the garden drinking my hot tea, while the moon was setting down above the rice fields and village.
One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster
The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
