Walking the Lom Dong nature trail at Mae Yom National Park

Traveling in Thailand

In December 2021 I was on a motorbike trip and I did visit Lom Dong in Mae Yom National Park and made the short walking nature trail. It is a short trail passing thru a forest of some huge trees and some bamboo. The trail is clearly marked and easy to walk. The trail begins and ends at the camping site near the parking. From this trail is a 3.5km trail going to Phu Ing Cliff (but I skipped this). As I was on a motorbike trip I did walk it with my motorbike boots and motorbike trouser, it took me about 30min. So it is an easy walking trail.  If you like walking and trees then it is highly recommended! For location see the location under this posting.

One night in Bangkok and the world is your oyster

The journey of Traveling 2 Thailand did begin with One Night in Bangkok in 1985 and since 2009 it became a personal non-commercial travel blog as inspiration for traveling & motorbike riding in Thailand. Made just for the sheer love of traveling and sharing experience about traveling in South-East Asia. To travel beyond the beaten track & highlights. Enjoy!
